Subtle stripes in a child’s room are a creative way to combine various gender-neutral shades without overwhelming a little space. In this room we brought together warm off whites with rich creams and greens for a sweet and soft effect.
Using our favorite DIY tools- level, pencil, and painter’s tape- draw horizontal lines in the following pattern starting from the floor going up to the ceiling: 18″, 6″, 6″, 3″, 3″. Repeat.
Time to pick up the paint brush! The color order of the stripes from top to bottom is: AIR .01, AIR .02, STONE .01, GLASS .03, GLASS .02. We started by painting with AIR .02 and GLASS .03.
Remove the tape. (the fun part!)
Time to fill in the remaining stripes with AIR .02 and GLASS .02.
Pull off remaining tape and let dry.
Add crib and cute baby. All done! Nice job.
