Bring soft spring hues, rays of sunshine, and lots of smiles into your little one’s space with this easy DIY!
You will need:
SPROUT .06 for the base wall color
SPROUT .01, ASPIRE .04, CLAY .07, and METAL .04 for the design
Painter’s tape
Paint brush
Paint roller
Start with a base coat of soft pink SPROUT .06. We recommend a 3/8″ nap roller cover for lightly textured or smooth walls.
Using blue painter’s tape, create your sunburst design. We did ours freehand letting the tape make the lines, but feel free to use a straight edge if you need a little more structure.
The most important step: Seal the edge! This PRO TIP ensures your paint lines are perfect with no bleed under.
Pick a color and begin filling in your design with either a roller or brush.
You are getting there….keep filling in those rays!
Looking good! Let dry and determine if you need to apply a second coat in some areas.
Remove the tape…
…and admire. You did a great job!
