Add an unexpected graphic element to a traditional nursery with 2-toned triangles. Follow our super simple step-by-step below and take your little one’s room from nice to NEATO!
Using our favorite DIY tool- blue painter’s tape- freehand a triangle shape on the wall. To prevent paint from bleeding under the tape, seal the edge with color of the wall underneath. In this nursery, we used 2 gentle neutrals from Canvas Color Collection: Brown .01 on the walls and Brown .02 on the wainscoting.
Fill in the big triangle with Blue .04- a sweet and super fun hue. Outline another triangle with painter’s tape…..
….and fill in with the darker Blue .05. Remove the tape and let dry.
Decorate with crib, cute bedding, and an even cuter baby! For more gender-neutral nursery ideas, check out this blog post!
